| David Kirkpatrick talks about how he became successful in the entertainment industry. Kirkpatrick is a veteran of the entertainment industry of 30 years. He is the former head of several studios, including Paramount Pictures, the Walt Disney Company, and Touchstone Studios. He has overseen some 200 movies including: Forrest Gump, Ghost, Top Gun, Ordinary People, Witness, The Firm, Dead Poets Society, The Hunt for Red October, Terms of Endearment, Elephant Man, An Officer and a Gentleman, The Little Mermaid, and others. He was involved with the Indiana Jones and the Star Trek series. As a producer, he has recieved the Golden Globe, Emmy, Independent Spirit, and other awards. He recently recieved "The David", a lifteime achievement award at the Candlelight Forum in Hollywood.
Kirkpatrick recently co-foundeded Good News Holdings, a company dedicated to positive value entertainment. Good News Holdings will distribute content on all platforms including mobile, internet, traditional television, and theatrical motion picture screens.
