I have to say, when I first started watching this, I was thinking, "Oh boy, here it comes. Cheesy Christianesy." But dang, girl, by the end I was like "Yeah! That's it!" The message is right for our times, and we need bold stories to shake up and inspire us tired world-worn Christians. Good job Mary. Now I know why you won. |

Remarkable. I will never hear a windchime again that doesn\'t remind me to stop and pray for women standing outside the door. I have definitely been outside the door. May God use your gifts for the advancement of His purposes. Well done. I will be sharing this on my blog to young women, www.twomirrors.wordpress.com |

Gotta say, this is one of the best looking films of all the submissions. I usually don't like what I would consider "heavy-handed" Christianity, but you've managed to work Christian themes and a Christian element into the film, in such a way that . . . it just works.
In other words, it's not "in-your-face". I appreciate the subtlety. Good job. |

I am deeply saddened that this woman doesn't have anyone in her life that loves her enough to support her at this incredibly difficult time in her life. Not her mom, not even the man who helped to make this baby. He is responsible for this life too, but everyone seems to have forgotten that. I'm sure this happens in real life and no one should be pressured into something like this against their will.
I wish the girl across the street had not only prayed for her, but had gone to her, given her support, told her of her own experience and how she regrets it. This woman needs a friend, and she will definitely need support going back to all of the people who made all of those hateful comments. God has forgiven her for her abortion. Now she needs to forgive herself so these hateful voices will stop tormenting her as well.
So often, we live with so much unnecessary guilt and shame in our inner lives that we have a hard time realizing our full potential and reaching out to others in need. |
