Jazzez Jones, a local from Suffolk, Virginia, is relatively new to film. Message Received is his first produced short, though he's written two others. He names two Regent students, Andy Didway and Dan Ostrem, as individuals who influenced him in this area. Aaron Sorkin is the first screenwriter that caught his attention. He shares, 'My interest in film-making is recent and I'm still trying to wrap my mind around it. I want to make films that move people.'
