| Growing up as a classical pianist and vocalist since the age of 5, Jennifer trained her ear and gleaned her love for music from her instructors and her family. She developed a love for gospel music as a minister's daughter singing and playing the piano every Sunday and with gospel choirs that traveled throughout the United States and Europe. One of the greatest musical influences in Jennifer's life was her father, Dr. David Bittinger, who sang in musicals, groups, and as a soloist throughout Jennifer's childhood. Jennifer and her father are famous in northeast Ohio for their perfectly paired, melodious duets and performances. Jennifer sang as a soloist and guest performer with mutiple jazz bands and ensembles in high school and college. She took risks as a vocalist by singing live at jazz clubs improvising songs on the spot. At age 24 Jennifer began writing a unique style of music that combines the jazz, classical, and gospel styles of her past with lyrics that reveal the truths of life and the depths of the soul. Audiences proclaim, "When you listen to Jennifer's music you just can't get enough! She is inspiring as an artist and as a person in every way." |
